Veal was formed initially as a practice group comprised of members of [[Eliza Skinner]]'s musical improv 101 class at the [[Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre]].  The group had its first performance at Under St. Marks on Sunday, May 11 at 7 PM with [[Fat Penguin]] as the opening act.  Veal is coached by Stuart Ranson of [[Baby Wants Candy]] and is accompanied by [[Frank Spitznagel]] on piano.

A longform musical improv comedy group in New York City.


History

Veal was formed initially as a practice group comprised of members of Eliza Skinner's musical improv 101 class at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. The group had its first performance at Under St. Marks on Sunday, May 11 at 7 PM with Fat Penguin as the opening act. Veal is coached by Stuart Ranson of Baby Wants Candy and is accompanied by Frank Spitznagel on piano.
