Stranger was a PIT House Team that performs in repertory on Super Free Wednesday at 8pm at The Peoples Improv Theater.

History
The team was originally assembled by the PIT's ensemble committee on January 10th, 2011. Members had recently been shuffled from previous PIT House Teams Senator, Darling, and Lethal Kitty. Lucas Zachary Hazlett and Micah Sherman were new House Team Members when the team was created.
Their first show took place on January 12th, 2011 to a sold out audience at The Peoples Improv Theater. Their last show was on January 25th, 2012.
Name Origin
The name Stranger is a direct reference from the first show the team performed together, when they were still unnamed. In their first group game together as a team, every member of Stranger played a band-mate to a drunken Billy Joel trying unsuccesfully to record tracks for his eventual 1977 album "The Stranger".

On February 2nd, 2011, Stranger performed the Groundhog Day Show, a form they created moments before walking onstage for their Super Free Wednesday time-slot.

Improvising with a Stranger
Improvising with a Stranger was a weekly performance that takes place during Improdome on Super Free Wednesday involving alternating members of the group.
Cast
Stranger was Lucas Zachary Hazlett, Erick Hellwig, Bradford Jordan, Chris Roberti, Micah Sherman, Rob Stern, Phil Wells and Michelle Wolf when it was assembled.
