Space work
From IRC Improv Wiki
Space work is an improv concept that refers to pantomime. As improv scenes typically include minimal or no props, costumes, or set pieces, performers utilize pantomime to illustrate these objects to an audience. The term was coined by Viola Spolin in her seminal work Improvisation for the Theater. Space work helps improvisers establish the "where" of a scene, and form essential components of scene painting as well as organic improv.
