After graduating from Cornell University in 1995, Rob began pursuing acting as a career and in 1997 landed coveted roles in a Canton, Ohio community theatre production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as the narrator and manipulator of an Oompa Loompa hand puppet. High points since then include a stint in 2001on Days of Our Lives (or "DOOL" to hardcore fans) in the role of Dr. Colin Murphy. Unbeknownst to him, he performed comedy on that show for 3 months to the delight of dozens. He has promoted drinking and driving (separately) in national commercials and also made appearances in film and TV productions. Rob has been studying improv at the UCB and Magnet Theatres since 2006.

Rob is especially well regarded for his uniquely offbeat, hilarious, and deeply honest characters. He can convey impossible sadness in the awkward smile of any character. He's also a pro at going "blue." Every Raynard alum will attest that Rob was, by a mile, the most laugh-out-loud hilarious presence in every rehearsal. Rob, modest to a fault, is the only one who would disagree.
