Melanie Hamlett

Melanie Hamlett is an improviser based in New York City. She helped form the improv team Bad Data and stayed with them for two years before deciding to focus on her amazing storytelling abilities in April 2009. She has studied improv at UCB since 2006. Her past instrucors have included Shannon O'Neill, Joe Wengert, Erik Tanouye and Michael Delaney. She also is a storyteller and perform as often as possible at THE MOTH and various other storytelling shows around the city.

Melanie has the craziest stories in the whole world, but continually denies this fact, even when mid-story about the time her mom let a wasp's nest grow in the ceiling of their living room intentionally for several months.
