MATTHEW LOREN COHEN is a classically trained pianist with a BA in music. He is a co-creator of and musical director for New York City's original, award-nominated improvised musical, The Next Big Broadway Musical!, which has been seen every year since 1999. As well, he composed the music for the award-nominated original revue, Hello, Boys!, featuring Michael Conley, and he is the musical director for the improvised musical, The Nuclear Family, which enjoyed an eight-month run off Broadway and continues to be seen in New York and around the country. He has been seen improvising music on several television channels, including the Sundance Channel, and he performs regularly with several other improv troupes, including ComedySportz New York. Matthew has had several short stories published and writes the marginally amusing blog, "Nervous Breakdown," which can be found at www.nervyb.blogspot.com.
