Death by Roo Roo was a longform improv group that performed at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City from 2003-2014. Their final lineup included Anthony Atamanuik, Neil Casey, John Gemberling, Curtis Gwinn, Adam Pally, Gil Ozeri, Gavin Speiller, Mike Still, John Murray, Joanna Bradley, and Joel Weidl.

Death by Roo Roo formed when Curtis, John, and Neil entered the UCBT's Thanksgiving 3 on 3 competition in 2003. They entered as a team in Terry Jinn's show, The Project. In The Project, Roo Roo performed with Joe Wengert and Will Nunziata.

After a successful run in UCBT's Cagematch, Roo Roo became a house team performing on Friday nights at 11pm. When Mother's run ended, Roo Roo replaced them in the Saturday 9pm spot, adding Liz Cackowski.

Their final show occurred on December 13, 2014. Several of the cast members were interviewed for the UCBComedy Tumblr page prior to that show, where they reflected on the team's history and style.

Founding members: Neil Casey, John Gemberling, Brett Gelman and Curtis Gwinn. The group soon added Anthony Atamanuik and Jackie Clarke. When Brett and Jackie moved to LA, the group added Gavin Speiller and Adam Pally.
