An exercise where one player assumes a character and does a monologue. Once the character is somewhat established, other players initiate scenes with that character. Each scene should explore different aspects of the character.
Four Corners Character Wheel
Variation used by Billy Merritt. Instead of a series of quicker scenes with tag outs, four players are positioned at the corners of the stage. After the monologue, the main character goes to each of the corners in turn for a different scene at different points in that characters life. The scenes should be the moments of the characters life that they remember clearly 20 years later.
