The Bristol Improv Network is a Bristol based improv network and 'school'.

History

In the Spring of 2012, some Bristol improvisers attempted to flyer in another’s shows, however this ended in a friendly and heated argument. This ended in the comment that they should be collaborating to build the improv scene in the city, and this is how the Network was born.
According to the website, "The Network aims to be a promoter, supporter and associative label for Bristol’s collective improvisors. We seek to produce harmony and solidarity within a vibrant improv scene that both shows-off and inspires local improv talent, on-stage and off."
The Network spurned from the need to collaborate, to ensure this they put on the first Bristol Improv Festival in 2013, March 3rd till 10th.
