Anna Martemucci

Anna Martemucci is a writer and performer living in Brooklyn, NY, and 1/8th of Knifestorm. She received her BFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and her short films have been produced and selected for screening at the Cannes Film Festival, The Philadelphia Film Festival, Ladyfest NYC, and the Ivy Film Festival. A short story of hers was a finalist for Carve Magazine's Raymond Carver Short Story Award. She has studied acting and improvisation with Chris Caniglia, Matt Donnelly, Rebekka Johnson, Ali Farahnakian, Gary Austin, and Charles Goforth. She appears in the film "Explicit Ills" alongside Rosario Dawson and Paul Dano, to be released in the spring of 2009. She has modeled clothing for such companies as The Gap, Anthropologie, and Vera Wang.
