Allan McLeod

Allan McLeod is an actor, writer, and comedian type living in Los Angeles. He attended the University of Alabama where he received a B.A. in Theatre and Film. At UA Allan wrote and performed sketch comedy for the Theatre and Dance Department's bi-weekly Guerrila Theatre show. Allan also won the opportunity to study filmmaking under Tom Cherones (director of Seinfeld, Newsradio) based on a short film he co-wrote.

Allan began taking classes at UCB when it opened on the west coast in 2005. He studied with Matt Besser, Ian Roberts, Matt Walsh, Andy Daly, Seth Morris and many others. He began teaching sketch writing and improv at UCBTLA in 2008. In 2009 Allan performed his one man show Allan McLeod: A Rabbit Stole My Car Keys. He has also appeared in many UCB sketch and improv shows including Facebook, Soundtrack, Deep Focus presents The Improvised Movie, The Back Room, 420 Funny, America's Best Comic, Quick 'n Dirty Musicals, Director's Commentary, and Fireball Deluxe presents: Dadquest. Allan has appeared on Comedy Central's Tosh.0, guest starred on the Starz Channel original series Head Case, and was a series regular, as well as a contributing writer, on the MTV cartoon Popzilla. He also wrote for the web ad agency, and the Comedy Central sketch show pilot This Show Will Get You High. He recently co-starred in a pilot for Comedy Central, and the feature film Freak Dance. Allan has also appeared in several national commercials.

He can currently be seen performing with his Harold team Arts & Athletics, his sketch group A Kiss From Daddy, and UCB TourCo.
