For the improv concept of the same name, see A to C.

A to C is a concentration warm up.

Players stand in a circle. One player says a word. The next player then says a word that is two steps away from that word. In other words, rather than going from A to B, the second person goes from A to C. The third person then tries to guess the linking "B" word that connects the A and C words. The word the third person says becomes the new A, and the fourth person then says a word two steps away from that, and so on.

Example

  • "French" (A)
  • "Eggs" (C)
  • "Fries" (B) and new (A)
  • "Behind" (C)
  • "Ketchup" (B) and new (A)
