The Great Mix-Em-Up
From IRC Improv Wiki
The Great Mix-Em-Up is an alternate version of Super Free Wednesday that occurs periodically at The Peoples Improv Theater, where PIT House Team members are mixed into random groups and perform for one time only. It was created by Ashley Ward.
History
The Great Mix-Em-Up was originally named The Great Mash-Em-Up, Mix-Em-Up, but was shortened before the inaugural show. For the first GMEU, Ptolemy Slocum and Teresa Bass stood on stage and pulled performer names out of a bowl. From them on, they choose the teams before the shows began. The shows are known for being incredibly fun to watch, as performers tend to make very bold choices on teams that are one night only.
