Leo Callahan

is one of the most handsome Philadelphia-based longform improv groups. All seven members attended Haverford College, where they performed with the Lighted Fools or The Throng comedy groups. Leo Callahan performed its first show on Friday, November 20th 2009 to a packed crowd at the Arts Parlor. Their namesake, Leo Callahan, is the only person to escape from Philadelphia's Eastern State Penitentiary and never be recaptured. Leo Callahan (the improv group) performs elusive longform in the spirit of Leo Callahan (the escaped felon). Leo Callahan (the escaped felon) would be over 100 years old today. Should he be reading this, he and a friend will get in for free to any and all future shows.
